What this is

Wet Grass lets a group of friends run a fantasy tournament pool — a draft or an auction, followed by scoring across a season. It is provided free of charge by an independent developer and comes with no guarantees about uptime, correctness or how long it will exist. By using it you accept these terms.

Your account

You need a working email address, you must be at least 13 (16 in the UK or EEA), and you must not let anyone else use your account. Your sign-in link is as good as a password — do not forward it. Tell us at hello@wetgrass.app if you think somebody else has got into your account.

No gambling

Wet Grass handles no money. There is no entry fee, no prize, no wallet, and no payment processing anywhere on the site. The dollar figures in an auction are imaginary — a scoring mechanism, not currency, with no cash value and nothing to withdraw.

What your league does among yourselves is your business and your responsibility. Do not use this site to run anything that constitutes gambling where you live.

Behave yourself

Do not use Wet Grass to:

• harass, threaten or abuse anyone, including through a display name or a league name;
• post anything unlawful, hateful, or sexual;
• impersonate somebody else;
• break into another account, or poke at the site's security;
• scrape it, hammer it with automated traffic, or try to knock it over.

Display names and league names are visible to everyone in your league. Choose accordingly. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules, and we do not have to warn you first.

Sport data

Fixtures, results and player statistics come from third-party sources and can be wrong, late or missing. Scores may be recalculated when a data source corrects itself. Team and competition names belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification only; Wet Grass is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, club or governing body.

Your content

League names, team names and anything else you type stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it and show it to the other people in your league.

No warranty, and a cap on liability

The service is provided “as is”. Drafts can fail, scores can be wrong, and data can be lost. To the fullest extent the law allows, an independent developer is not liable for any damages arising out of your use of Wet Grass — and because you have paid nothing, any liability that survives is limited to nothing.

Some places do not allow those exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as local law permits. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Ending it

Delete your account whenever you like from your account page. We may suspend or discontinue the service, or any league, at any time — including shutting the whole thing down. If we plan to shut down, we will try to give you enough notice to get your data out.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top says when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
